A Thirsty Soul is Quenched by a Saving God

Pain, guilt and unanswered questions can leave the whole person feeling thirsty for God. Psalm 42 does not promise that better circumstances will cure this ache; the soul longs for the presence it was made to enjoy. Hope grows as biblical truth reaches the heart through patient prayer, honest lament and support from God's people.
