A Thousand Generations: Anakin Skywalker Is a Jedi Demigod

1999's The Phantom Menace presented the idea that Anakin Skywalker was a messiah the Jedi had been waiting for, a figure who would defeat the Sith and restore "balance to the Force". Further added to the mix was the concept that Anakin had no mortal father, but rather was the offspring of the Force itself. This "virgin birth" led many to believe that Anakin was some kind of representation of Jesus, but I believe that this addition to the lore may go beyond just Christianity. Join with me as I explain.
