a THRIFTY Christmas

Welcome to another chapter of my Thrifting Audio Diary. Each week I invite some friends of mine out on my Thrifting Adventures. We spend the day scavenging, bring our loot back to the studio, then record what we found. 'Tis the Season, Roaches. THRIFTY did a Christmas episode with our local Christmas Expert, my very own sister, Jen Tondera. Jen has a Christmas Decoration collection that was built upon the sales from second hand stores. She likes digging through the trash too! My co-host Josh Larkin joins the both of us. This episode features the "Christmas Partied" off my hip hop Christmas EP "Delicious Cookie". (https://toddy.bandcamp.com) This Week's Thrifty Finds / Discussion Topics : - THE ROACH COACH : We take emails from the listeners of the show. Have we found any Christmas Creatures while thrifting? A listener needs help picking goodwill items for their family for the holidays. - Trash Santa, the 5'5 jolly man that was found in the garbage. - ME AT MY CORE : I continue to surprise Josh by introducing him to MY CORPS Action Figures. Jen and I recall our childhood and playing with my CORPS collection in the Pool. - A family of Snoopys, all found at second hand stores. - Vintage Christmas decorations dating back to the 1980s and 1990s. Special thanks to : BLUFFS for "Alternate Reality", the theme to our show for many reasons. (https://steveberes.bandcamp.com) You can email the show at [email protected] . Tell us about your thrift hauls! I'm sentimentally attached to things you've forgotten. It's time to get THRIFTY!
