A Time For War | Time | Nathan Bentley
from LifePoint Church AZ Hosted by LifePoint Church
In this sermon, Pastor Nathan concludes a three-week series on time by delivering a powerful message about the importance of recognizing and engaging in spiritual warfare. Starting with the end of his sermon and using Matthew 16 as the foundational scripture, he highlights the reality of spiritual conflict and how the devil works to deceive and ensnare believers. Pastor Nathan emphasizes the need for Christians to practice rest in the Lord to prepare for spiritual battles. He explains the significance of Peter's confession of Jesus as the Messiah and the subsequent rebuke, underlining that the church must understand and actively engage in this spiritual conflict. The sermon also covers how Christians can find freedom from the strongholds of sin through genuine repentance, confession, taking every thought captive, and replacing lies with God's truth. Pastor Nathan calls for the church to rise up and reclaim their authority in Christ, focusing on the individual's role in the greater spiritual battle and the church's collective strength.
