A Time To Remember

from LCC Sunday Messages · host Steve Forrester

Many who hear the word "history" often have a flashback to their school days. They think of dry, boring lectures about people and places from long ago. Did you ever ask, "Why are we studying this anyway?" However, history is so important and a proper understanding of the past helps us live better in the present and plan for the future. As we begin our new series "One Nation Under God?" we must start by answering an important question. Why does history matter? Today we will lay the groundwork for the rest of our series, seeing the importance of a proper view of history in order to understand our place in the world today.
