Hola apasionados del taekwondo ¿Cómo están? Bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio del podcast. El día de hoy les contaré algo que me comentaron los papás de uno de mis alumnos esta semana y que sin duda fue una experiencia complicada pero de la que podemos aprender muchas cosas.¿Qué sucedió?Llevaron a mi alumno a jugar al parque, cosa que como saben considero de lo mejor que se puede hacer por un niño en estos días. Y bueno, de pronto la madre de mi alumno se dio cuenta de que otro niño estaba encima de su hijo pegándole.En el tiempo que tardó en llegar el otro niño le alcanzó a pegar un poco a mi alumno que es un niño algo sensible y al que la situación naturalmente afectó.La madre habló conmigo porque el niño no quería ir a clase de taekwondo porque estaba asustado y también quería saber mi opinión al respecto. Ella no veía tan bien decirle al niño que se defendiera pero el padre si.Las preguntas básicas eran:¿Cómo afrontar la experiencia con el niño?¿Se le puede enseñar al niño a defenderse sin dañar al agresor?Sobre la primer pregunta.En los noventa se acuñó un termino llamado Crecimiento Postraumático. Es decir, una persona vive un acontecimiento difícil que lo lleva a un cambio personal positivo.Eventos que como dirían las abuelas "fortalecen el carácter".Entonces le comenté a la señora que afortunadamente su hijo estaba bien, no pasó de unos rasguños, de algo de dolor. Y lo más importante era transformar la situación en algo de lo que sacar provecho.Creo que es importante que los padres manifiesten cariño, o sea que en ningún momento pase por la mente del niño que sus padres ya no lo van a querer por débil o por blandengue. Si el niño se asustó pues explicarle que es algo normal y que a todos hay situaciones que nos provocan miedo.La señora también me hizo preguntas más técnicas, relacionadas a formas en que el niño aprenda a defenderse sin lastimar...Así que de eso también hablo en el audio que te comparto aquí abajo.
