SCRIPTURE TEXT: 1 Samuel 11:1-15   God’s people faced many foes who sought to “divide & conquer” the tribes of Ancient Israel. But when the Lord anointed Saul as king, he unified those tribes into a nation in which the people pulled together as one (1 Sam 11:7). Similarly in our lives, the enemy of our souls seeks to blind our spiritual vision, dash our faith-filled hope, & strike division among God’s people.
