A vintage pull-along toy dog

Today I saw an image in my mind's eye of a vintage pull-along toy dog on wheels. Even if a toddler wanted to own their own real dog they would first need to learn to balance and develop other life skills etc. This goes along the same theme as yesterday on prayer - sometimes God needs to prepare the recipient of the prayer. I further reflect on a story given by a British missionary doctor in Zaire, Africa on the Equator. A young mother had died leaving a new born baby and little 2 year old girl. Another 10 year old orphan at the Mission prayed for resources for the baby that very day as a matter of urgency, as well as a little doll to show the 2 year old that God loved her. Parcels from the UK were scarce and this prayer seemed an impossible one to the adults listening. However, a parcel did arrive that very day from a UK Sunday school, having been been packed and shipped 5 months before. Amongst other items, It had what was needed for the newborn baby and a doll! God had heard the prayer all those months before and had moved some people, who listen to Him and obey Him, to prepare the right items. Simple faith is needed for God to work out the intricacies of our prayers.
