A Violent Vacancy: The 1902 Disappearance of Nora Fuller

On January 11, 1902, 15-year-old Nora Fuller responded to a nanny wanted advertisement in the San Francisco Examiner. She called her family an hour later, saying that she was hired and at the man’s home.
