A Vote on the Government Shutdown, New Candidates for Congress, and a Civil Rights Headquarters in Harlem

The longest government shutdown in US History has entered its 43rd day. And the House is expected to vote today on a resolution to reopen the government. A high school curriculum connects students with the inspiring stories of members of ethnic and religious minorities whose accomplishments have been hidden from traditional American history.
