Welcome to HBOT Patient Stories! In today's episode we meet Christie Wygant from Michigan, who tells us about her daughter Denise healing journey. Denise was diagnosed with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). It is  a type of newborn brain damage caused by oxygen deprivation and limited blood flow. Denise was put on a feeding tube, she was severely depressed because of the medication she was on. Things started to change when Christie heard form other mothers about hyperbarics and started Denise's hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions.
