A Way Forward- R. Marcus Rubenstein

Hello everybody, today we are going to hear a sermon from R. Marcus Rubenstein on Parshat Vayishlach given Saturday November 20th, 2021 at Shabbat morning services at Temple of Aaron. Rabbi Marcus explores how we deal with large, complicated and important communal issues in our communities. We will explore a specific case that was documented in the NY Times Daily podcast that occurred within the school board of the Central Bucks county Pennsylvania school district recently. He then worked to diagnose why we are having such a difficult and unproductive time dealing with these issues through the paradigm of the encounter between Jacob and his brother Esau. Pragmatic conclusions are then offered that can help us have productive, albeit hard, conversations in our communities, with our families and with each other to help us all move forward together.
