A white petrol/gasoline container

Today I saw a picture, in my mind's eye, of a white petrol/gasoline container. I felt that this was in direct contrast to the inflammation of gossip, as mentioned in last Saturday's devotional, which we are directed not to do. Instead we are to fan into flame our passion for the Holy Spirit and to use the giftings He gives us, for the benefit of others. It is misplaced humility to say we cannot use our giftings or indeed we have no giftings. Apostle Paul reminds us to stir up our giftings (see 2 Timothy 1:6). "Never be lacking in zeal but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord" (Romans 12:11)
