Megan and Wendy review Hallmark Channel's "A Winning Team" starring Kris Polaha and newcomer Nadia Hatta. About "A Winning Team" Kristoffer Polaha plays Ian. Everyone knows who Polaha is. He was in last year’s “We Wish You a Married Christmas” and had a cameo in “Haul Out the Holly.” He will star in the highly anticipated “A Biltmore Christmas” later this year. According to his IMDB, he has a ton of upcoming work including "Harlen Coben’s Shelter." Nadia Hatta plays 3-time World Cup soccer champion Emily. According to IMDB she is best known for her role in a series called “Away” on Netflix. This is her first Hallmark movie. She was also a VJ at MTV Asia.  You may have recognized Adil Zaidi as Ian’s friend. At the time of recording, he hadn’t been given credit on IMDB. He typically plays a lot of “friend-of” roles in Hallmark movies. I wouldn’t mind seeing him as a lead. This was written by Ronee Uyeshiro. This is her first writing credit. Jason Furukawa directed. He has 13 directing credits including last year’s “A Magical Christmas Village.”  Filmed in Vancouver during winter - which made this spring movie hard to film, especially the outdoor soccer scenes.
