Red Barn Radio's holiday program showcases Guitarist, harp-guitarist and composer Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. Her “Nightlight Daylight” CD was listed as one of the top 10 CDs of the decade by Guitar Player Magazine and her “Heartstrings” accompanied the astronauts on the space shuttle. The recent project “Sailing Dreams” is inspired by sailing to Maine with her partner Bryan Allen. Her video of “Why Worry” on 20-string harp guitar garnered a total of over 8 million views onlineMuriel has recorded with country legend Chet Atkins and performed with Les Paul, Tommy Emmanuel, and many others at her annual Muriel Anderson’s ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT®. The event raises funds for the Music for Life Alliance, a charity she founded to help provide instruments and lessons for kids.
