A Working Man (2025) - MOVIE REVIEW
from MOVIE Morning · host Gyan Chansrichawla
Jason Statham is back with yet another mid-budget action thriller, this time he’s again teaming up with his ‘The Beekeeper’ director David Ayer. Ayer is, of course, most famous for the Suicide Squad debacle that occurred back in 2016. The Beekeeper, as most Jason Statham films, definitely garnered a solid box office return which is why the two were quick to pair up again but I seemed to be in the minority because I didn’t like it very much. And I am by no means a cinema snob who can’t enjoy B-movies like this; I check out almost all of Statham’s action movies because I find him to be a very entertaining movie star. So, is A Working Man an improvement on The Beekeeper in my book, or should these two stay after from each other in future endeavors? Find out in this review!A Working Man:Directed by: David AyerScreenplay by: Sylvester Stallone and David AyerBased on the book "Levon's Trade" by: Chuck DixonProduced by: David Ayer, Bill Block, John Friedberg, Chris Long, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Kevin King TempletonExecutive Producers: Volodymyr Artemenko, Rachael Cole, Alexis Garcia, Beau Harrington, Michael Heimler, Teddy Schwarzman, Mike Shanks, Jill Silfen, Yevgen Stupka, Thomas ZadraMusic by: Jared Michael FryCinematography by: Shawn WhiteEditing by: Fred RaskinCasting by: Finnian TweedProduction Design by: Nigel EvansCast: Jason Statham, David Harbour, Michael PeñaSynopsis: Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction.
