A World Too Selfish

Send us Fan Mail In Ecclesiastes 7: 29 we read: Truly, this only I have found; that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes." Almighty God created the heavens and the earth, He created mankind to dominate the earth and enjoy the abundance of its fullness of riches and providence. He did this in order that mankind would honour Him, their Creator and enjoy His presence, giving Him all the glory for all He has done and continues to do. In this mankind as a whole failed, being filled with all kinds of selfish and personal ambition, ingratitude to God and sinfulness. Yet God continues to show mercy and give grace, sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to be the propitiation for the sins of mankind, which must be punished in accordance with God's holiness and righteous judgement. Christ is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin before the sovereign God because He was perfect as a man and offered Himself up to die for our sins; no sacrifice for sin is left or acceptable to God the Father. Anyone who rejects Christ as Saviour and Lord smirks in the face of God, and this is what the unbelieving world does. Will this go unpunished? There is only ONE way to be a Christian!
