A Year of Abnormality

A year ago today, I was in Southern California for work, and decided to make a side trip to Los Angeles to catch a hockey game, concert, and comedy show, all while the world began shutting down. From the moment I picked up the rental car at 3 PM till when I arrived some 10.5 hours later at the hotel in Carlsbad, the world became a different place.   I decided to start this "311 Day" recapping the day that was in 2020 one year ago today, which was the final day of the "old normal."
