It is a semi--professional league in the United States which plays a seven-man version of gridiron football called American 7s Football. Launched in 2015, its games are played without football helmets or other protective equipment. The A7FL is the only organized level of competition in American 7s football.League players are not paid during the season and most of them are primarily amateurs. Instead cash prizes are awarded to division and national champs (divided among the roster of roughly 25 players). For the 2022 season the prize pool was $50,000.So who are some of the best players in the A7FL? There is a 2023 individual award winner which is Quatrell Huffin. He is the league most valuable player. Mark Bagway is the offensive player of the year of 2023. Trey Baskerville is the defensive player of 2023. Savion Cunningham is the best returner of 2023. Scott “Scooter” Hamilton is the rookie of the year 2023.A 7FL seems to move a little faster to me than NFL football but that's just my opinion. The players look like they run faster or something. Maybe it's just my eyeballs. They look so free when they run.
