1985 ൽ ‘കാതോടു കാതോര’ത്തിൽ പാട്ടു ചെയ്യാൻ പറയുമ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് ആ പരിപാടി അറിയില്ല. ഞാൻ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല അതുവരെ. എന്റെ ഒരു സുഹൃത്ത് ഗിറ്റാറിസ്റ്റ് ജോൺ ആന്റണിയോട് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, ‘ജോണി ഒരു കാര്യം ചെയ്യൂ, ഞാൻ വയലിനിൽ ഒരു ട്യൂൺ വായിക്കാം. ഒന്നു കോഡ്സ് വായിച്ചോളൂ’ എന്ന്. അന്ന് ചെറിയ ഓട്ടോ ടേപ്പ് റിക്കാർഡറിൽ റിക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്തിട്ട് ട്യൂൺ കൊടുത്തു. അതാണ് ‘നീ എൻ സർഗ സൗന്ദര്യമേ’. പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങുകയാണ് ഔസേപ്പച്ചൻ. കേൾക്കൂ മനോരമ ഓൺലൈൻ പോഡ്കാസ്റ്റ്  When I was asked to compose a song for 'Kathodu Kathoram' in 1985, I wasn't familiar with that process.
