Ep #166 - Dr. Jia Gottlieb joins me for this amazing and Empowering Chat about his life and his book, aah ... The Pleasure Book. We dive into the 4 levels of pleasure as he has outlined them in his book. They include: The physical, the mental, the emotional and the spiritual, which are all part of our whole being. We explore the act of freeing the mind and how to dispel the years of shame, guilt, fear many of us live with, in order to reclaim our wisdom of pleasure so we can live a beautiful and fulfilling life.  We also talk about working with your own human nature rather than against it so we can live from a place of love rather than fear. We have to be willing to be vulnerable and surrender the need to control. Dr. Gottlieb grew up just outside of Chicago. His father, an Austrian Jew met his mother during World War II in southwest China.  After graduating from college he backpacked around the world for a year.
