God can be worshipped by any name, whether it is Keshav or Ishwara; It can be worshipped in any form - be it a four-armed, holding a conch, a mace, a lotus, a saligram; a trident and damaru holding chandrachuda, jatajuta, Gangadhar, or a linga.Ēkaṁ Sat, Viprā Bahudhā vadanti (r̥gvēda, maṇḍala 1, sūkta 164, mantra 46.) That is, the truth is one though the wise call it by many names. This is a clear declaration of Sanatana Dharma.
