A&T's Walker Makes History, But Tribe Wins

North Carolina A&Ts freshman Lewis Walker shattered the schools single-game freshman scoring record with thirty-three points, but it wasnt enough to secure a win against William and Mary in a high-scoring Coastal Athletic Association matchup. Despite matching the Tribes hot shooting, A&T fell short, losing ninety-seven to eighty-eight. Standouts for A&T included junior Trent Middleton with twenty points and sophomore Zamoku Weluche-Ume with his third double-double in four games. The loss drops A&T to seven and nine overall and zero and five in conference play. The Aggies aim to bounce back on Monday, January nineteenth, against rival Hampton.
