Aaron Fleisher: Cocodona 250 Preview Episode for 2023

from Everyday Ultra · host Joe Corcione

Aaron Fleisher is an endurance athlete and thru-hiker based in the Southern California area who has done seven 200+ mile races over the course of 2 years. That list includes the Triple Crown of 200s and Cocodona twice! And he’s accomplished many thru-hikes on legendary trails in his career as well. Aaron is all about having fun, making memories, and adventuring to the max when it comes to these races. But in his third year at Cocodona, he’s taking a slightly different approach: really pushing to see what his true potential is. And in this episode, he covers what that means to him and how he’s going about it. In this episode, Aaron shares how he plans to balance having fun and being competitive with himself, how he got into 200+ milers from no running background, and his approach to crewing and pacers he plans to deploy this year. Huge thank you to Aaron for coming on the show!
