AARP Alabama urges all voters to make their voices heard in the state’s primary election
With Alabama’s primary-election on May 24th, all voters should make their voices heard. That’s according to Bill Hawkins—of “A-A-R-P Alabama”… “All statewide offices are on the ballot—along with legislators, members of Congress, and one U-S Senator. The people [whom] we elect this year will be dealing with issues that are critical to older Alabamians. These include: keeping both Social Security and Medicare strong and secure; addressing inflation and its impact on our daily lives; skyrocketing prescription-drug prices; and family-caregiving. That’s why we’re providing accurate and up-to-date voting-information—so that Alabamians can make their voices heard, at the polls. Older Americans are the nation’s most-powerful voters—and will be the deciders in this year’s elections.” To learn more, visit “a-a-r-p”-dot-org-slash-“a-l-votes”.
