AARP Maryland warns against scams that involve COVID-19 vaccines

from North American Network

Vaccines for “COVID-19” are rolling out, across the country—and throughout Maryland. Unfortunately, scammers are trying to take advantage. That’s according to Hank Greenberg—the state-director of “A-A-R-P Maryland”… “Fraudsters are using telemarketing, text-messages, social media, and even door-to-door visits, to perpetrate vaccine-related scams. Don’t respond to any solicitations about the vaccine—or about offers to ‘buy’ a spot on a priority-list. Also, no-one from either Medicare or an insurance-company’s going to ask you for your ‘Social Security’-number, or your credit-card information. Anyone who does make such a request—well, that’s a scammer. Doses that were purchased with taxpayer-money will be provided to patients at no cost. However, providers may charge an administrative fee—and have that fee reimbursed by insurance-companies. There’s also a means of reimbursement for uninsured patients, too. Finally, if you have questions about whether—and when—you should receive a vaccine, you should only get that information from your physician, or another trusted healthcare-resource.” For more about Maryland’s rollout-plans, visit “a-a-r-p”-dot-org-slash-“m-d-vaccine”.
