Abala Deva – The Son of Pañcajanya and the Stealers of Sacrifice

According to the Mahābhārata (Vana Parva, Chapter22), Pañcajanya Deva and his fifteen sons — including Abala— were known as “Yajña-stenas”, the stealers of sacrifice.They took shares from sacred offerings without rightful permission, disruptingthe balance of the cosmic order. This act represented a diversion ofdivine energy and the temporary disturbance of dharma,which was later restored by the higher celestial powers.
