Abandoned Pet Ducks Need Help

Domestic ducks aren’t meant to live wild — and dumping them in ponds is a deadly mistake. The Humane Society rescued six abandoned pet ducks, but more were left behind, highlighting the real danger these animals face without human care. Domestic ducks can’t hunt, avoid predators, or survive harsh weather — they’re helpless out there. The Humane Society warns that abandoning pets harms both animals and communities, and urges anyone struggling to rehome a duck to contact them instead. It’s a stark reminder: pets need us — and we need to be ready to care for them. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
