ABC: Knowing God Chapters 3+4

from Use Your Words Hosted by Use Your Words

This week we go over chapters 3 and 4 of Packer's Knowing God. This continues to lay the foundation for the rest of the book. During this time we talk about Packer's insistence that anything that uses the imagination or art in worship is idolatry - and how he cedes some ground on this in the 1993 update to the book. What is your thought - is the use of art/images/statues during worship idolatry or is he taking it too far in that regards? Use Your Words podcast is passion project of two people from Southeastern Wisconsin. Please consider checking out the below links to learn/hear more. And join us every week for new episodes!
