Abe Jackson is a Boise legend, he graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1998, winning the state championship in his senior year. Abe stayed home and played forward for the Broncos from 1998-2002. He started in 79-106 as a Bronco and averaged 15.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists. During his time at Boise State Abe made the All-Conference time three times, twice in the Big West and once in the WAC. Jackson ranks fourth in three-point field goals (253), sixth in field goals made (544) and seventh in total points (1,660). Abe went on to play professional basketball in France for Valence-Condom after his career at Boise State. He returned to the Treasure Valley after his basketball career and became the men's basketball radio color analyst in 2008. Jackson is still the radio voice of Boise State men's basketball and was named the 2025 Idaho Sportscaster of The Year by the National Sports Media Association.
