Abhorsen- Episode 9

Thank you so much to Abbey for commissioning this episode, and thank you to Yama for correcting my mistake on the earlier post in which I thought that I had fucked up and in fact HAD, but in a different way than I thought. Oof! It's been a confusing month, y'all! It's finally the finale episode! And I was really impressed with the way this book ended, even despite the fact that there's not a horribile, tragic death. The Disreputable Dog passes on into death, though, and we know that Lirael is really going to miss her, even though I really don't quite count her as a death in the same way because I knew that she wasn't going to stick around forever. I really enjoyed this book, and I'm impressed how the author got me to feel just how high the stakes were when I'm kind of immune to apocalypse storylines. I was genuinely a little freaked out.
