ABIDING IN THE VINE

Scripture: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5 Devotional Message: Abiding in Christ means staying connected to Him as the source of life, strength, and fruitfulness. Just as a branch cannot survive without the vine, we cannot thrive spiritually apart from Jesus. When we remain in Him through prayer, His Word, and obedience, His life flows through us, producing love, joy, peace, and lasting impact. But when we disconnect—through neglect, distraction, or sin—we begin to wither. Abiding is not about striving harder; it’s about resting deeper in Christ’s presence and drawing everything we need from Him. True fruitfulness comes not by our strength, but by His life within us. Today, Ask Yourself: Am I truly abiding in Christ daily, or am I trying to bear fruit in my own strength? Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to stay connected to You, the true Vine. May Your life flow through me, producing fruit that glorifies You. Keep me abiding in Your love and strength each day. Amen.
