The Penumbra Podcast
Harley Takagi Kaner and Kevin Vibert
At the Penumbra, you might follow Juno Steel, a brooding, sharp-witted private eye on Mars, as he tangles with an elusive homme fatale, tracks dangerous artifacts of an ancient alien civilization, and faces his three greatest fears: heights, blood, and relationships. Or you might enter the world of the Second Citadel, where the merciless Sir Caroline must corral a team of emotionally distraught all-male knights to defend their city against mind-manipulating monsters...even the ones they’ve fallen in love with. SIRENS: Season of the Seawitch
Travis Alexander
This is the story of a machine. A device that runs the world from the basement of the White House. A supercomputer that controls your mind through your smartphone. A machine you never knew existed until now. A machine named SIREN. It's the story about SIREN’s bad Ideas, like FLORA, the data center/powerplant powered by plants, or DODPOP, the Department of Defense Population Control Team, whose primary function is to attack paramedics on emergency calls. And, it's about how DODPOP has affected the seaside town of Salem, Massachusetts. This is the story of a widowed paramedic trying his best to protect his rebellious teenage daughter, who would do anything to be cool, even lie her way into DODPOP just to impress a boy (who would do anything to get out). It's the story of a washed up musician turned townie, who witnesses the love of his life die at the hands of DODPOP, and how his music becomes the catalyst that spark

The Yacht or Nyacht Podcast
JD Ryznar, Steve Huey, Dave Lyons, Hunter Stair
This podcast does one thing and one thing only: It determines whether songs are "yacht rock" or "nyacht rock." "Hollywood" Steve Huey, David Lyons, JD Ryznar, and Hunter Stair, the team that coined the genre "yacht rock" with their legendary webseries, rate curated and listener-suggested tracks on the highly-accurate Yachtski Scale to build out the playlist of certified yacht rock songs. Their analysis employs a precise scientific method that involves a deep well of musical knowledge, impeccably trained ears, sophomoric banter, and, most impressively, uses a spreadsheet algorithm to add scores & divide them by four. This may sound intimidating but fear not! The hosts let you in on their decades-long friendship and make you feel like part of the team. Can you guess how they'll rate each song? The more you listen, the better you'll get.
