The event was punctuated by what is known as the Fatima Miracle or Miracle of the Sun witnessed by 30,000 to possibly as many as 100,000 people, including quite a few skeptics. Angie Gillette, Dianne Estopinal and Edme Mendez, organizers of a public square Rosary commemorating the miracle, share the history of the event and what it means to them.
