About Rudi on the Gorenjska highway

The audio recording on which the episode is based was made in a car on the Gorenjska highway. I was driving to the Christmas Biophysics Workshop in St. Georgen am Längsee and I was thinking about the lecture section dedicated to Rudi Podgornik, who died on 28. 12. 2024. Rudi was my mentor during my postdoc studies and the reason I came to Ljubljana, where I have been returning since 2007. I don't know much about Rudi, I didn't know him well. Sometimes those people who seem the most communicative and open are actually the most closed and you learn just a little more about them than they let you know. Saša Svetina, Rudi's mentor, played the piano that you can hear in the episode.
