Absolute Batman Part 2- Meeting Joker, Mr Freeze, and Bane (and Killer Croc)

In this week's episode, Ryan makes Jame read issues 6-10 of the currently ongoing series, Absolute Batman. Written by Scott Snyder, art by Nick Dragotta, and colour by Frank Martin. Though they are mainly looking at the introductions of the the DC Absolute Universe's versions of the Joker (who doesn't laugh), Mr Freeze (who is kind of frozen), and Bane (who is big). They also go on tangents about whether the Joker is an overused villain or not, paper money, video games, and what's in Absolute Batman's Utility Belt?Timecodes00:00 - Intro06:20 - Comic Talk Starting with the Arting13:41 - Absolute Joker21:59 - Absolute Mr Freeze34:21 - Absolute Bane37:24 - Paper Money & Wood Carving tangents41:47 - Back to Bane48:09 - Video Games tangents51:26 - Back to Bane55:14 - Absolute Killer Croc58:50 - What's in Absolute Batman's Utility Belt?1:00:37 - Fan MailYouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2GA9q40JoBmnbOrkjGuJg Apple Podcasts- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-comic-literate-podcast/id1670647884 Spotify- https://open.spotify.com/show/4hd5lO43gSZyyh5UEmcq2U?si=NOE0uX4iRHWGDwIoCRfndQ Google Podcasts- https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL3RoZS1jb21pYy1saXRlcmF0ZS1wb2RjYXN0Pocket Casts- https://pca.st/r8b1cyg7Comic Stan- https://youtube.com/@comicsstan-q1z?si=F9mxzO-eSmfWphWx
