ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN: Dust of Krypton

ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN: Dust of Krypton Mike and Fatheree dive into the very beginning of Absolute Superman, exploring the first story arc, “Dust of Krypton.” Covering the first six issues of the series (also collected in the first trade), this opening chapter sets the tone for what Absolute Superman is all about: a bold, ambitious reinvention of the Man of Steel that re-centers the character as a working-class hero who stands against explotation and tyranny. Join us as we break down how “Dust of Krypton” reimagines Kal-El’s origins, his first encounters with humanity, and the challenges of finding his place in a world both awed and afraid of him. From the destruction of Krypton to Clark Kent’s earliest steps as Superman, this arc introduces a sweeping vision of the champion of the oppressed.
