Absolutely No One is Righteous

from Hillcrest Bible Church Hosted by Lydia Schaeffer

Series: Romans. Righteousness for the Unrighteous Text: Romans 3:9-18 Date: Jan 25, 2026 Speaker: David Bartosik Big Idea: Paul begins to bring this section of his letter to a close by making one truth unmistakably clear: no one is righteous before God. To drive the point home, Paul strings together a series of Old Testament passages, showing that this verdict has always been God’s assessment, not a new idea. None is righteous. Our unrighteousness shows up in our speech. Our unrighteousness shows up in our actions. Our unrighteousness flows from a deeper problem.
