Shanti HershensonSixteen-year-old author of 30 books (with 17 published)!Since I was twelve years old, I have actively been writing and publishing books. I've written 30 books in varying genres, including You Won't Know Her Name, a novel-told-in-poetry about bullying in middle school. I've written Biome Lock, the first in a (completed) alien invasion series. The first book has been published, the others on the way. Besides Biome Lock, I've published The Accidental Insurgent, a dystopian standalone, and three books in a series called The Chronicles of Ziel DeLaine. I have many more published books that I am more than happy to expand on if needed. I can speak to your audience on any topic under the umbrella of writing and publishing books, particularly as a teen author. I also enjoy speaking about using the app TikTok to sell books, as I have amassed well over 50,000 followers on the platform. Besides writing, I can speak about anti-bullying, specifically in middle school, and anything related to that topic. Hosted on Acast. To commemorate James Joyce's mighty novel, Ulysses, we're launching a podcast. Every week you'll find a five-minute mini-essay from me designed to take you through the novel that's on every list of the greatest books ever written. And as Ulysses runs to some 375,000 words, and I mean to go through it sentence by sentence if I have to, in order to convey the full brilliance of this novel - and the enjoyment to be had from it - I'll be podcasting for some time to come! It's such an absorbing book, it's got diamond mines of references, it's so compassionate, so tender, so moving, so funny - and most of us never know that, because most of us have long been daunted by it. No need to be afraid any more - that is, if you make a habit of listening to these podcasts.
