Abuse is real. You have to act.

from Street Talk · host Derek Odom

Are you the victim of ongoing abuse? Is home a scary place? Maybe work, or school? It's there someone in your life who makes you feel small and unseen, unheard? Are you being hit? Touched inappropriately? Does someone repeatedly tell "jokes" that aren't funny at all and instead are meant to hurt and to break down? Please look at your situation objectively. If someone you loved were going through the same thing, would that be okay? Look for the truth and get help and get out. I don't care who the person is to you. Husband, father, mother, sister, coworker, teacher or friend, all the same. It's has to stop. Don't worry about how they'll feel. Do they worry about your feelings? You matter too. See the truth and then take action. It's time these people lost the game they set the rules to. Tell someone. Flight. Run. See a counselor. Contact me. I got you. But please, for your safety and mental health, do something. Soon. Contact me directly! Support the show
