In this episode, Nathaniel Spiers interviews me about my testimony of submitting to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and forcing myself to take a two-week vacation (that I was worried would hurt my ability to generate business as a Realtor and cause me to miss opportunities). God was working while I was resting to give me what would be my biggest paycheck of all time.  The seller client was a family I was living with at the time, and the wife strongly encouraged me to take the vacation. When I got back she said that I “looked different” and for no apparent reason committed right then and there that whenever they sold their house, I would be their Realtor despite their previous plan to use the 30-year veteran Realtor who had helped them purchase that house.  Several months later this was my first listing ever, which sold for $825,000 within 6 days of being listed, to the perfect family we’d all been praying for! This resulted in a commission check of $24,750.
