ABW 35 - Let GO and Let God

Jumping right in after last week's interview, this is another testimony from my own life that Nathaniel Spiers interviewed me about. It was originally one interview, but I split it into two parts because it was really two different stories.  This one is all about letting go of a situation once you've exhausted your own abilities and letting God take it over the finish line for you. In this particular instance, I describe a critical juncture of my life when I was getting out of the Navy and was under an extremely tight timeline trying to get a physical exam done to qualify for Veteran benefits once I separated from the military. After doing everything I possibly could to schedule this exam with the VA, it looked like it wasn't going to happen. I released it to God and ceased from my own striving, when literally at that exact instant of letting go and giving it to God, my phone rang and it was the exam scheduler!   I was able to get my exam done and in a miraculous, unusually short timeframe after getting off active duty I was receiving VA benefits. These VA benefits were a huge blessing because they gave me the passive income to have the financial freedom to pursue the things God has put on my heart for the last several years.
