ABW 42 - The Humility of Self Love

from A Better Way · host Ryan Haley

This week’s interview is with Ryan Wall. Ryan is one of my roommates and a classmate from bible college who owns a digital marketing business called StoryMarque. Ryan had been going through the most difficult season of his life for the past year or so, but just experienced a profound breakthrough and change of perspective. Having just officiated his first wedding as a licensed minister this past weekend, Ryan describes a very insightful connection he made between humility and love for himself. This allowed him to have a deeper and greater love for people, which translates into a single-minded focus on relentlessly adding value to people through his business and life in general. One thing he said that really struck me is this: “Love does not stop at the door of business”. The results are that now clients are hunting him down to pay him and engage his services, whereas before the opposite was true as he was toiling and striving in his own efforts to build his business. Just in the last few months and particularly the last week, his income has increased 300%. Moreover, he is now experiencing more life-giving joy and fulfillment in serving and loving people through his business than he ever has before. You can connect with Ryan via email at [email protected], or give him a call at (719) 822-1776. Though it’s currently undergoing major construction, you can also connect with him through his website: www.storymarque.com.
