AC Williams Religion family community and gay

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with AC Williams about what it was like growing up in a religious family and for a long time keeping the secret that he is gay. AC felt like he was living a double life. It was very difficult and caused AC to have stress, anxiety and many sleepless nights until he finally told a very close and trusted friend his secret. Once he was able to tell his trusted friend his secret and see that he was still loved and accepted he began to open up to more friends and get the support that we all need to feel connected in this world. One thing that is certain is that for having gone through this experience and reveal who he truly is has allowed AC to feel lighter, happier and alive… his advise to anyone that is caught in the same situations of fear - take a leap of faith and you will land in a better place for it.
