Acapulco, Puebla & Tulum, Mexico

from The World Wanderers Podcast · host Amanda Kingsmith and Ryan Ferguson

This week on the podcast we are off to Acapulco, Puebla & Tulum, Mexico. First up, Acapulco! We went to Acapulco for a conference and to celebrate Amanda's 29th birthday. We did something a little bit different for this trip and stayed at a resort. If you listen to the podcast a lot, you know that we usually stay in AirBnb's. It was fun to switch things up and to have a resort experience and a relaxing beach vacation in Acapulco.  Next up, Puebla! Puebla is only 2 hours from Mexico City and we went for Cinco de Mayo (the battle of Puebla). We only 1 day there, but we packed a ton in and were able to get a feel for this cute city! Finally, we talk about our long weekend in Tulum where we spent time hanging out at the beach, exploring Chichen Itza and swimming in cenotes.  This episode includes our first earthquake experience, an awesome car rental, what Cinco de Mayo is actually all about in Mexico, and much more!  Enjoy!   This episode of The World Wanderers is sponsored by AutoSlash. AutoSlash is the #1 site for getting a great deal on a car rental. They figure out the best coupons and discount codes to get you the lowest rate possible, and then track prices on your rental right until the day you pick up the car. If they find a lower rate, they email you so you can lock in the savings. It's like price protection on your rental. They can even track the price of rentals made on other websites. AutoSlash has saved customers millions of dollars on car rentals. It's completely free - give it a try on your next booking! This episode of The World Wanderers podcast is brought to by the amazing new space saver bags from The Chestnut. These bags are great because unlike other bags you don't need a vacuum or a pump to seal it, all you have to do is place your item into the bag, seal the top, and then roll out the air through the valves in the bottom. These bags are perfect for us because we travel a ton and we usually only travel with backpacks, so anything that can save us space is amazing! There's no more sitting on our bags, fighting to fit everything in! We simply pack our items into the space saver bags. Not only do we save a ton of space, these bags also help reduce clutter up to 75%. With these bags, travelling is a breeze! Another great thing about these bags is they can help protect your clothes from orors,  bugs, moths, dirt and dampness. And because they are made with high quality plastic they are reusable. So if you want to declutter your space or have to stop wrestling with that suitcase, we highly recommend these space bags. Head on over to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GEP4JGA and use code THEWORLD to get 25% off your bags today!
