Accelerating SUCCESS: Unveiling the POWER of Female Leadership in Brokerage Alastair has been involved in finance for over 20 years. While still at university he founded and later sold two companies, one focused on entertainment and concierge services along with an online property portal. He went on to work in investment banking which took him around the world from London to Hong Kong & Singapore. He left investment banking at 30 to become COO of a £31bn investment manager in Hong Kong. A few years later to set up his own firm, specializing in consulting for both hedge funds and private equity and undertaking venture capital activities of its own. He sold his interest in the firm in 2021 to return to the UK for family reasons. Since then he has set up Finanze Group, a diversified company with interests in Property & Business Finance, Protection & Insurance, Estate Planning, Education, Publishing & Events, Technology and Origination & Lending. The Group continues to grow rapidly. He is particularly well known for creating custom facilities for clients. He was ranked in the Top 30 UK brokers in 2022 and followed that up with being ranked in the Top 40 most influential property professionals nationally in 2023 by B&C Magazine.
