Acceptance is Letting Go | 003

from SEEJEPP · host Corey Jeppesen

Apathy is dangerous because it can disguise itself as acceptance. I know many people who don’t do shit and say that they’ve accepted things, but really what they’ve done is repressed their fears. They have neglected to face them and turn that anger into courage, therefore they’ve developed the apathy and hopelessness of growing as a person. Acceptance is not an agreement of your perceived reality. Acceptance is letting go. Acceptance is being completely open to what life has to offer. Acceptance is allowing life to pass through you and not attaching yourself to it; Not Forming attachments to perceptions of safety. Any mottos you have as to what you cannot do is essentially the things you will not do. Those things are based on an apathetic settlement into conditioned attachments that you did not consciously sign up for.
