Today I am speaking with an amazing female named Addison. Addison, has been a classroom, library, and consulting educator for nearly 20 years. With a master’s degree in Music Composition they decided to get a second masters in Digital Storytelling and it was during that stint when Addison came to accept that they are a transgender person. With that new information Addison decided to focus on modern gender theory as a way of understanding themself. She now combines their teaching experience, research skills, and personal story to help others understand LGBTQ issues, especially transgender issues.
