Access Hour | 8th Birthday Party Highlights | KY Rep Nima Kulkarni | Tony Macaluso from Leeds | 4-16-25

from Forward Radio podcasts · host Forward Radio

On this week's Access Hour, we bring you highlights from our live broadcast on the evening of Saturday, April 5, 2025, when we gathered in community to mark 8 years of broadcasting the voice of the people on Forward Radio at Louisville's newest cooperative, Maybe It's Fate, 1425 Story Ave in Butchertown. Everyone enjoyed a chance to experience this beautiful, multi-functional, member-owned community center and art gallery which was profiled recently on Forward Radio. We celebrated eight years of building community, supporting grassroots organizing, and broadcasting the voice of the people with music, food, door prizes, birthday cake, non-profit partners, and some great speakers including Tony Macaluso, joining us from "across the pond" in our Sister City of Leeds, England and East Leeds Community Radio, as well as immigration lawyer and Kentucky State Representative, Nima Kulkarni from west Louisville's District 40! If you didn't get a chance to support us, we rely on your contributions to stay on air, so please go to https://forwardradio.org and give generously today! The Access Hour airs on Forward Radio, 106.5fm, WFMP-LP Louisville, every Wednesday at 2pm and repeats Thursdays at 11am and Fridays at 1pm. The Access Hour is your opportunity to take over the air waves to share your passion.
