Access to the Promised Future – Part 6: Shut Up 🤫 & March(The Art of Repetitive Boring Routine)📖 Text: Joshua 6:1–2 (NKJV)Introduction: When Destiny Seems BlockedWhat do you do when you’ve done everything right, followed God’s Word, and taken the leap of faith—but the doors are still shut in your face? The children of Israel had crossed the Jordan. They were finally in the Promised Land. But immediately, they face a barrier—Jericho, a heavily fortified city.💭 Real-Life Moments of “Jericho”You tithe faithfully, yet your finances feel broken. You studied, passed, graduated—yet no job offers. You go the extra mile at work, but you’re still overlooked. You’re trying to eat healthy and live clean, yet sickness strikes. You’re investing in your marriage, yet it keeps breaking apart.🔑Key Truth:Sometimes life feels like you’re marching in circles and nothing is changing. But God is still working.🧱Point 1: The Walls Are Meant to Fall🔑 Key Truth: The enemy builds walls to delay but he can’t stop youJericho’s walls were:Designed to intimidate.Built to keep out what threatens their powers. But God had already declared victory: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand…”God speaks in past tense about future battles because He stands outside of time.💡 Reflection: What “walls” in your life make you feel locked out from what God promised?📖Joshua 6:9 NKJVArmed men represent prayers for the PriestsIf Priests are compromised the church fallsThe church needs to protect the pastors and what is happening these days is opposite of thatPeople say anything they want to say in their minds on social media about the men of God Men of God must be protected by prayers of the church📖Acts 12:5 NKJV📖II Thessalonians 3:1 NKJV⚔️ Point 2: The Strongest Go FirstJericho was the most fortified city in Canaan.God didn’t say, “Let’s start small.”He targeted the strongest enemy first—why?💬 Luke 11:21–22 (NKJV)God is the stronger one.You don’t need to be the strongest in the room—you need to be with the One who is.💡 Reflection: The battle you’re facing may be the toughest because it’s meant to send a message of God’s greatness.🧭 Point 3: Strangest Strategies Work Best📖 Joshua 6:3–5 – The Israelites had to march in silence for six days.🔑 Key Truth:God’s strategies rarely make sense to the natural mind.Imagine explaining this to the soldiers:“No weapons yet. Just walking.”“No shouting. Just silence.”“For six days. And then on the seventh… make noise.”This is where obedience > understanding.🔢 Point 4: The Power of 7️⃣ and Divine Completion7 Priests7 Trumpets7 Days7 Circles on the 7th DaySeven = Completion, Perfection It echoes the Creation story and the Final Trumpets in Revelation (Rev. 8–11).💬 Practical lesson: God’s plan may feel slow, but it’s strategically perfect.👣 Point 5: The Silent March – Shut Up 🤫 & Walk📖 Joshua 6:10🔑 Discipline of SilenceSometimes, quiet obedience is more powerful than loud declarations.📖 I Thessalonians 4:11 NKJV💡 Reflection: Can you stay silent and still trust the process?🔁 Point 6: Boring Routine Builds BreakthroughFor 6 days, the Israelites marched the same path. Over and over. No walls fell. Nothing changed. But obedience isn’t about excitement—it’s about consistency.🔑 Key Insight:Breakthrough is often found in what seems boring.👣 Everyday “Marches”:God rewards those who don’t quit in silence.🎺 Point 7: Praise is the Final Weapon📖 Joshua 6:20It wasn’t swords that brought the wall down—it was praise after obedience.🔑 Key Truth:Sometimes your greatest spiritual weapon isn’t what you say to the wall—It’s what you say to God while walking around it.📖II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV Conclusion: When the March Ends, Praise LoudDon’t underestimate the power of praise after seasons of silence and obedience.
